Application form can be completed online; please visit www.juniorchef.ca to submit your recipe! June 29th 2018 – seven (7) contestants will be selected for the final competition. The contestants will be selected by our consulting chefs and our Celebrity Chef Head Judge La-toya Fagon, based on the originality of the recipe submitted and use of Grace products. Contestants will be notified by phone or email if they have been selected. July 3, 2018 Junior Carnival Media Launch Malvern Mall. Please note that participation and attendance is mandatory. July 18, 2018 Orientation Session - 6:00pm-8:30pm TROPICANA COMMUNITY SERVICES 1385 HUNTINGWOOD AVE SCARBOROUGH, ONTARIO Attendance is mandatory for all selected participants. Wavier forms for participation must be signed. Guest speakers from Toronto Public Health Department to discuss Food Safety Health and Wellness Coaches to educate contestants on healthy living (food & exercise) “Safety in the Kitchen” presentation by professional chefs covering important information regarding food prep and handling, working sharp knives, stoves/various cooking utensils, food plating and presentation for competition.
